I have a Raptor 60 and a gallon of each Omega 15% and Wildcat 2 &
stroke 15%.  I asked the hobby shop owner for these fuels for m
airplanes, but will they work for my O.S. .70SZH?  I have a No. 8 O.S
plug in the motor as well.  I have a gallon of heli fuel that was use
on the TT Pro 70 but it's so old that the fuel has stained the jug and
don't have a warm and fuzzy about running it through the motor.  By th
way, the engine is brand new.  Any tips would be appreciated.  Thanks,
Mik

Hi Michael,

I don't see why the 2-stroke fuels (Omega & Wildcat) wouldn't work.  What
does the OS's instruction sheet recommend as far as nitro percentages go?  I
would definitely "not" run the 4-stroke fuel through the OS.  Four-stroke
fuels generally run lower oil percentages and 2-strokes won't be very happy
with that.  I think you're playing it safe to not use the heli fuel if it's
that old.  Just make sure you run it to the rich side for the first few
tanks on the new engine!

Good luck & Fly Safe,

The manual states I should use a 20% Oil 15-30% Nitro fuel.  The Wildcat
is 18% oil and 15% Nitro.  I just went to the Hobby Shop and forked over
the cash for a new gallon of Omega 15% Heli Fuel anyway.  Crappy weather
today so I'll crank her tomorrow if mother nature permits.  Thanks for
your help Steve.
