I have a 450 SE that was working perfectly with a Hitec TX (6 channel)
despite numerous attempts at trying to destroy the helo while learning
to fly. My progress was going steady right up until yesterday -
attempted to lift off & the bird flew backwards & fell heavily before
I could get control back. After replacing the broken main & tail
rotors & replacing a couple of ball joints ( told I fell heavily), I
found the the rear swashplate servo was getting damn hot and not
operating the rear of the swashplate - not me at all I thought ,
faulty servo - wrong ! Replacement servo did the same thing - only
common denominator left is the transmitter & I'm buggered if I can
find the settings in the manual ( the bloke I originally bought it off
has since gone out of business and he told me how to program it
originally and yes, I should have written it down -hindsight eh !).
Any help would be greatly appreciated - Steve

It's not a transmitter problem. What happens if you disconnect the
pushrod from the servo? Does the servo move? Does the swash move
freely when moved by hand?
Maybe you accidentally connected the servo to the tail servo output
from the gyro?
