Canoyp fixing...is there a better way?

The crappy plastic canopy on my Sceadu is attatched by even crappier rubber
grommetts pushed onto crappier still plastic spigots. This method is
unsightly, poorly designed and not truly functional.

Is there a better method I can buy / make / utilise?

Ali standoffs, threaded to accept a bolt (cap head) and a grommet in the
canopy. Use a "fewwule" in the grommet and the bolt through the ferrule and
your canopy will never move again.
