New Tail Blades Don't Fit???

I've just taken delivery of some 30 size (72mm) NHP tail rotor blades for my
Shuttle. But they are about 25% too thick to fit in the blade grips.

The model is about 4-5 yrs old, so is this one of those dimensions that gets
changed on later models to gently encourage you to buy a new one :-) or is
there a genuine problem here. If so what are my options?

Modelsport do some 4mm root tail blades as do SAB
