Please see previous post if you need to.

OK, i got the grasshopper to work fine.  But there is a pin that keeps
coming out on the inside of the front wheel.  So I moved all the
electronics(servos, reciever, wires etc) into the buggy with the bigger
motor and independant rear end.

Everything is fine until i plug the steering servo into the reciever.  Then
it won't steer or go that good and both servos shake back and forth.  If I
unplug the steering servo, the motor servo works fine with no shaking.
I tried switching the wires around, but the only way i get steering is when
there is shaking.  Any ideas guys?

Also how do you oil these things?

Thanks

It sounds like a damaged servo.
Check the servo connector, and see if there are loose contacts
Open the servo, and look for loose contacts there (in the main wire).
If that does not help, there might be a problem in the servo's circutry ot
the motor, in which case you would better just get a new one (the chipest
would suffice for this car).

Before you begin opening the servo, try connecting the second servo to the
other slot. See if it behaves well. If so, the problem is with the servo.
However, if the second servo also shakes when connected to this slot, then
it is the receiver, in which case you don't have much to do. A new receiver
is about 25-30$ so make your decision.
