I've heard rumors that leaving gas in tour R/Cs tank is bad, however no one can really explain why. Is this true? And why is it bad? Thanks! Will go stale faster. More chance of leakage. Can drip in car/home. I left long enough the fuel will evaporate and leave 'sludge' in tan system. Part of the fuel evaporates faster than other parts and leaves residues that can gunk up the carb if bits are picked up in the next fill-up / use .. ;) Involved explanation ... Is this true? And why is it bad? > Thanks! Being a methanol based fuel it will be very hygroscopic (absorbs water) which will affect the quality of the fuel, potentially leading to corrosion. How big is you tank? Probably 75cc or less. Just run the tank dry or syphon any remanants out at the end of the day.
