Has anyone got this new MT by Losi  yet or run against one?  My buddy at
work just got one, I feel a new alum-exhaust, heavy drive cups and dog-bones
comin'  for the Savie.  Is it anything to get worried about?  Duel steering
servos....yike!  LOL!

We have two of them for our family.  We just play in the yard.  In the yard
the grass
offers more bite than in the dirt so if you are racing you'll have a little
less extremities of what we've experienced.

The truck is quit capable of a full on endo if you hit the brakes to fast.
The torque from the motor is easily enough to roll truck over backwards from
a dead stop.  Hill climbing ability is incredible.  Durability is awesome as
well.  I ran full wide open into the trampoline leg and only managed to bust
a shock shaft (titanium upgrades coming).  The truck in high gear is a
little more than reasonable to control on a hill climb (dirt flying
everywhere).  The handling right out of the box is awesome.  The starters
are very good quality and the trucks start easily.  Starting is a breeze.
The tires seem to hold up well and hook well.  The pre painted bodies are
cool right out of the box.  Only thing I can complain about is the servos at
80oz of torque are a little weak. I changed them both out to airtronics high
torque models.  The speed is the same as stock but the torque jumps to 200oz
each.  Run time of receiver pack is alittle weak.  I was using a venom
1100mah receiver pack but changed to a 1400mah pack (think made by
ofna/MDP).  I would say this pack offers about 15-18 tanks of fuel before it
needs recharged (about double the venom pack).  Using an MRC super brain for
charging.  I have an unsmooth upgraded yard with allot of pot holes and
truck sails through everything without missing a beat and kangarooing out of
control.  I have landscape timbers around mulch beds that the truck sails
over at full speed.

I've been into R/C for something like 20 years and this is the best out of
the box deal I've seen!  However I do not race so I can not speak for how
the truck might react in a racing environment.  For playing around on our
property the trucks are a blast.  The kids are scared of the high gear but I
am sure they will get used to it.

Well isn't that what makes this FUN!

If an RC vehicle doesn't come with fear right out of the box it's too
slow.
