I'd like to get back into the hobby after years of being out of it.. so where is
the best place to buy a kit these days?  I'd like to get a partner for my RC-10T and
remember how much fun it was to build.  While I'm on the subject, I'd also like to know
what I should be looking at.   I've always like Team Associated, so I'd like to get
another off-road truck.   What's the best all around gear to get with it?  If I remember
correctly, I'll need another radio/servo setup, a motor and pinion gear, some battery
packs and a charger...

I'll look forward to hearing from you.. please send me some e-mail at daw@jhu.edu

If this has been covered already, please direct me to the appropriate threads...

Thanks guys!

These days just about every electric and nitro stadium truck can be
bought as a ready to run for about $250.00 (US). Right out of the box
you'd be up and running after buying 6 cell batteries and a charger.

Personally if I were you I shop and buy from a local hobby shop that
specializes in RC vehicles. You might not get the lowest price but
you'll get way more out of your realtionship with the LHS than any
online retailer. Recently my LHS is giving me better than Tower Hobbies
pricing on more than 70% of the items I buy from them.

Beware of internet retailer's return policies if you do shop online.
What I've seen is the rock bottom prices are usually connected to a poor
return policy.
