Im not so clear on what you mean. Use a bolt from inside the motor
coming out the existing hole, then use a lock nut on that? That may
work...

Yeah, I didn't do a very good job of describing what I meant. I'm not
familiar with the Stinger engine, so double trouble. But, if the engine
mounting system is such that there are flanges which the hold down
screws thread into, then the flanges can be drilled out so that a bolt
can go right through them and a lock nut put on the opposite side.

Internal mount flanges, I guess? If that's what you've got, yes, it
could work. Sorry for the vagueness...I should have shut up and let
someone who knows that engine talk.
Hope you find a cure cheaper than replacing the engine!
