what type of fuel would you recommend for this truck? I have Traxxax  fuel ,
Blue Thunder, Trinity fuel, all are 20%. Thanks!!

Do what HPI tells you to do in the owners manual

..and if you don't have an owner's manual, ask here.

The manual states 20%, but doesn't stipulate a brand. Tornado or Byrons I
use myself.

Download the PDF from HPI because you're gonna need alot of the info
that's in the engine and vehicle owner's manuals.

Wise words indeed.
But it doesn't state which brand of fuel to use.

yeah your right.....I think any of his 20% fuels would be just fine.

side note: hpiracing.com has some of the best online tech support of any
of the RC manufacturers. You can go to their webpage and actually see
all of their manuals online as JPG image ina separate window.

I agree. Their tutorials and forums are excellent. Been there plenty of
times....even with a manual :-) !!
I suppose fuel brand is limited to what you can get locally anyway, so a bit
pointless for HPI to stipulate one in particular.

I'm running 20 % airplane fuel in mine and it works great!!!

thanks to all who replied, I think since I have more Traxxas fuel I will use
that. Thanks again!!
