Hi all,

I recently won a Kyosho Lazer on ebay - figured it would be fun to
thrash around with, but I am curious as to which variation it is
(Alpha, ZXR, 2000, etc).  Can anyone identify it for me?

Thank you,

Andre

That looks to me like a ZX-S (I think that's what it was called), the
budget version of the ZXR. The shocks are the main clue, they're the "Black
Gold" version. The ZXR came with shocks with metal houses in gold colour.

Oops. Just realized there seems to be a new car called ZX-S. The old one
(the one we're talking about) was called ZX-Sport.

Thank you very much!  That works out well, as I have an old optima mid
and many of the parts seem to match up according to the parts list.

Can't wait to get it...
