I have an Traxxas 4-Tec. With the new 2.5 engine. After a long standstill I
cant get it running. I have tried to reset the fuel settings to factory
settings. But it floods, and wont move. Someone with a tip ?

How long did the truck sit?
Did you run all the fuel out or use after run oil before storing!!?

NO - too rich?!

Did you initially break engine in properly?
1st check that the glow plug is in good working order - should glow white when
is good condition!
I'll assume engine was properly broken in -- empty all the fuel out and start
over
Carb should be set at 3 turns out - attempt to start 3 times then turn mixture
screw counter clockwise in @ 30 degrees or @ 1/16th after every three attempts
If it still doesn't start - find a big a.s hammer a beat the crap out of it .>>
well that's what I would do <grin>

Could be a dead glowplug, bad continuity in the blue/yellow gp ignitor
wires, or the gp ignitor circuit in the 5280 control box itself.
If you put a voltmeter in the control box holes and press the red
button you should get ~1.5vdc out of the gp side and nominal 7.2v out
of the motor-cranking side.

I think this means that the engine so that the engine won't move.
