Can anyone give feedback on the handling of any (1/10th, 190mm) sports
car / coupe style bodyshells?

I'm thinking particularly RX-7, RX-8, S15 (Yokomo drift car?) or S14a if
anyone knows where to get one - but might consider other cars of that
genre.

Doesn't need to be BRCA legal; does need to have a low(ish) CofC,
provide plenty of steering and ideally a reasonable amount of downforce.

Please specify the manufacturer too, to make sure I know which one to
get!

Thanks,
Jonny

does any of the body shells make any difference I would have thought the
style made no difference what so ever at 1/10 scale unless your running at
70MPH

It does make a difference.  A year or two back the *only* shell to have
in scale snoring, sorry touring, was the Dodge Stratus (with possibly
the Alfa 156 and Vauxhall/Opel Vectra for certain situations).  These
days it appears there are one or two other four-door shells that work,
such as the Mazda 6, but it's still a limited range.

Coming from buggies, I was surprised at just how significant the shell
is - and I'd say that it starts to matter once you get somewhere over
15-20 mph.

I don't want a four-door shell for this car (hence it's difficult to
find information), but I do want to avoid repeating the type of mistake
I made in buying an HPI Lexus IS200 - that shell is now relegated to
ultra-slow indoor circuits only, where its useless handling doesn't
matter!
