I hope everything is ok with him. the day he got out out of the hospital, he was looking like death. I hope that sh.t never happens to me! He's eating and looking much better now! Karl says to say that right after his surgery he had a stroke to follow i.e. his entire right side has shutdown and is now and has been going to rehabilitation at the hospital! And they have taught him to stand up and take a few steps. he still is re-learning how to speak and use his right hand. I had a bad thing happen to me when I was in the Navy and got hurt real bad i.e. am a paraplegic in a wheelchair and karl took me in. I live in his back house for 10+ years now. Karl took me in and has taken care of everything i.e. I have a helper, a car, toys and I don't have to have a real job :-) Karl is really not a bad guy i.e. he's the guy up in the guy face that just squashed the little guy that did nothing!! I now have the capabilty to capture and make a wmv or avi or mpeg video but how ? That is the question how do i post the video? Bandwidth? That seems to be the issue.I could post a silly fast vid on rapidshare but would all the time wasted doing that just be waitng for a useless arguement?Someone would come off with 'Thats a doctored" video or something like that! Better than last week, improving with each week at a slow but persistent pace. not an easy task to re-learn how to walk and talk Embarrassing to roll down the block in a wheelchair! My friend, Daryl (Backbone) has been in a wheelchair since '91 was a navy commando in Desert Shield/Storm issue. I have always wondered about that and NOW I know 1st hand. Let me tell you that this SUCKS - so bad in fact that my worst day as an able bodied person is allot better than a GREAT day in a wheelchair -- I really feel for those wheelchair bound guys! Clogged Arteries: I used to eat allot of red meat. For years I enjoyed a (bloody) rare cooked steak. I used to smoke a pack a day as well. Probably caused the stroke! But they usally happen at a very old age. I am curious? I am at a unpreceded level of abuse at this time in my life! My doctors indicated to me that eating red meat may have caused the Heart attack as well as the strokes! Red meat contains Iron, apparently not good for males. My wife takes Iron suppliments! I had to take a vacation from all the BS. I took the family on a 3 week cruise ship to the Bahamas. Got back last weekend!
