Duct tape and plastic fuel quarts

Ok fellas,

Lids keep popping off my bottles of Trinity fuel in the garage.  It is NOT
hot in there as the highest measured temp I've seen so far is 82.4*.  So,
the bottle blows the cork and I get to pour $8.99 down the drain.  Lost two
quarts so far.  Got desperate and duct-taped the freakin' lids to the bottle
and no problems since.

Why don't makers of glo fuel make bottles that actually seal up and stay
sealed?  Sure, Traxxas has metal quarts but it's expensive!

Lol I've never seen that happen.  For 2x the money you can get 4x the
fuel in gallon size.  Traxxas has metal cans for about the same amount
of money, and the fuel will stay good for months.  Plus, I've never had
the top blow off of mine.

I've tried the Trinity gallon-size and the same damn thing happened!
Fortunately I was right there when it popped it's cork so I didn;t lose the
3+ quarts that were in there.

I might just bite the bullet and start using Traxxes Fuel..............if
even for a gallon and a quart so I can have the metal containers for my
regular fuel, which is Trinity Monster Horsepower 20/12 and/or 20/18.

Traxxas does have metal containers, but the quart size will leak.  In my
part of the world, it is not uncommon for the summers to hit 100+ deg F, so
you get an idea what an unconditioned out building or garage is like.  I had
a quart go to leaking around the neck since the fuel expanded inside the
container too much wheras the gallon container was fine.
