I just picked up a pro-max black widow charger from ebay and have had a 7.2V
1300mAh battery charging for 2.5hrs on the 4amp setting and still it says
its not ready??  is this normal?  It's supposed to have peak detection and
will blink when it has reached peak but nothing so far.  Did I just get
taken?

thanks

At 4amp charge rate, with a good battery pack (1300mah) that was
discharged to about .9volts per cell, the charge time should be about 15
minutes.

if pack should be boiling after 30min.
if not.... negative feedback

Well figured it out--the charge rate select switch was defective basically
staying permanently closed--there is no way this was due to age since i
opened the switch and found the spring missing.  Looks like someone popped a
button, lost a spring then decided to cut his losses and sell it on
ebay--what a dirtbag....

ebay ID  bluegrooveracer -avoid him.
