Hello again,

Where do all of you measure your temps?  At the cylinder head (usually
towards the bottom rung of the heat sink) or at the top of the heat sink?

Maybe the reason I'm getting such extreme temps is that I'm measuring them
at the bottom rung of the heat sink (cylinder head) via the thermal loop of
the onboard MIP gauge while I should have it looped around the top rung of
the cylinder head?

Still running around 300-325* and no signs of overheating or engine damage
yet.................

Regards,

Doc

I aim the IR temp gun at the bottom of the cooling head. I shoot straight
down thru the top at the glow plug.

Ok, that's where I'm measuring them.

Thanks,
