I'm looking for the fastest motor to hop up a Rusty. The ESC will handle down to 13T's. Any suggestions? I look at Tower Hobbies and there seem an endless listing on motors. The reason for the orion is so that you don't have to clean it as much, cut the comm as much and don't have to replace the brushes so often. > Traxxas Rustler running flat out on the street. > ....Ed I have run my Stampede with a Orion 14T and 15/87 gearing and it was down right dangerous but good fun for a few minutes. If you are purely out to make your Rusty into a land rocket and money is no option then get yourself a brushless set-up. The only other thing to worry about with the Rusty's and Stampedes is destroying the plastic idler gear and melting the plastic casing on the gearbox with the extra heat of the modified motor.
