I've been driving a Traxxas Rustler (electric) for my first truck and want
to get a 2nd electric to take to the track to race.

I was wondering what stadium or monster trucks can anyone reccomend?

Go the track you will regularly race at and ask the regular racers and
the owners of that track.

Most people at the track are racing Ofna (sp?)  1/8 buggies, noone knew much
about 1/10 Stadium or MTs, cept for I heard Revo and 18SS or something like
that alot but that is a Nitro and I wanted Electric.

you mentioned you want to take the new truck to the track and race with
it. Who are you going to race?

Many times tracks separate electric and nitro racing. Are you aware that
your track has electric off road racing? If so how many racers show up
for the elctric races?

If you want to get into racing with a good starting setup for an electric
truck without spending too much money, go with the Losi XXX-T RTR II. It has
far better electronics than any other starter kit, and the parts are the
same as the popular Losi racing truck with a few minor differences. You can
easily upgrade the truck with Losi option parts also. Otherwise if you want
to go nuts, you can get the Losi XXX-T MF2 truck and choose your own
electronics.

I think you can be pretty sure that better than 90% of guys racing EP 1/10th
scale trucks are running either an Associated RC10T4 of some sort or a Losi
XXX-T or some sort.

I have the Associated, its a good race platform. It depends on your budget,
but for a first timer, I think the Team Kit is a good way to go. You get the
durable plastic components which you can upgrade to carbon when you break
'em or when your skill requires it.

If money is tight, the the RTR is probably cheaper, but if you really get
into your racing, you will probably chuck many parts of it away within your
first year.
