I'm sorry for the vague question, but it was late and I was tired from all
the Googling searching for my answer, but hey, thanks for replying. After
reading your response, I looked into what I really needed/wanted. After
doing this, at this time, all I can say is ARRRGGG!. I wanted to be able
to recharge my new reciever pack, which is NiMH. Ok, no problem, most decent
chargers can do this with no problem. I also wanted to recharge my TX pack
(JR XS3) which I ordered from Horizon Hobby. But it does not say if it is
NiCad or NiMH! All I have been able to find is that it "requires" a JRPC222
charger that looks like a cheesey generic wall charger ($29.95), and takes
15 HOURS to recharge the battery pack!!! No LEDS, no display, no nothing.
Surely there is a decent "automatic" charger I can get for something less
than about $100. Any suggestions? Thanks again....

No worries. Just so you know. I charge all my packs with my 959. I have
charged from 4 cells to 8 and it automatically detects if it's NiCad or
NiMH. So you don't really need to know what they are to charge them with
this Charger. There is a better one from the same company that does 2 packs
at once also. I think it's the 969.
