RC Universe also did a favorable review of the Megatech Gladiator MT which I
have firsthand experience with and can say they are utter pieces of crap.

One of my reasons for purchasing the Gladiator was that it was cheap and I
read several favorable reviews, RCU's included. I got a lot of two
Gladiators on E-Bay, one brand new and one slightly used. Both were pieces
of sh.t which I got rid of two months after purchasing.
The problem with RCU's reviews: they take them out ONCE and run them. The
manufacturer has provided them with the truck for testing, and the build
quality of the test truck will be better than the average one purchased in a
store. Everything runs decent when it's brand new. Run a gallon thru it
and see how it's doing after that. Better yet, run several gallons thru it
and then see how it's doing.
My Megacrap's ran ok for the first 3 quarts or so, after that they were a
train-wreck with sh.t breaking left and right from wear and tear, NOT
collisions (collision damage was another issue altogether). My Savage went
over 4 gallons before I had to replace any wear and tear items like bearings
and clutch springs.
Bottom line, RCU's reviews are completely useless and the Genesis is still a
piece of sh.t. Have you ever read a <bad> review of ANYTHING on RCU? Think
about it.

Hmmm, this is true :-) You can't really get much from a single run,
certainly nothing that compares to ownership though, so you can't really
blame them.
