Replaced some bearings in the spur gear and bell cluch, and just

enough...

Depends on the vehicle, terrain/traction, engine, clutch shoe material and
clutch springs, racing/bashing............. lots of things.  I keep mine on
the Savage cranked all the way tight for zero slippage (wheelie monster!)
when I bash, and loosen it 1/4 turn from tight when I'll be hitting huge
airs or racing.

"Out a few" will have it slipping like mad and likely won't even move.
It'll just sit there and rev.  No more than 1 turn out from tight.

Even that is too much - if it's too loose you'll melt the spur.  Quarter
turn out at the most IMO.  Personally, I lock it right down, and have the
suspension soft enough to soak up wheelies, and the gearing set just right
;)

I'll run it this weekend, and adjust the setting both a full turn and a
quarter, and see what works best for me..  Keep ya informed...THX again..

For the record, my recommendation is all the way tight OR 1/4 turn out.  1
turn out is max!
