Does anyone know of a good hill climbing nitro monster truck? We have
hill climbing races at are local track in florida at avon park. I like
to get a nitro 4 wheel drive monster truck that has lots of power but is
sill light. I have been racing my kyosho mad force that does great but
would like to know if anyone knows of another truck that might be
better. Lots of the track members use tmaxx or revo but they seem to
heavy and end up stuck in the sand. We race up a clay pit sink hole
starting at the bottom were the hill starts.

Pretty much the lightest Monsters out there are the T-Maxx and the Revo. If
you're looking to go lighter than that you won't find it. Getting stuck in
the sand has nothing to do with weight, more to do with tires and gear
ratio.

I have an Ofna Titan and it will climb some serious hills. I love it, but am
going to do some modifications to it to tone it down a bit. I'm going to
put some Dominator wheels and tires on it and am switching to the steel
gears. They lower the gear ratio and combined with the lower tires it should
be quite torqueyy. The biggest problems with the Titan is that it is heavy
and when you come down and those big wheels are spinning, they like to snap
axels.
