I am looking for worn out rc engines to use the parts in trying to
build a small stirling engine. I would not be willing to pay a great
deal for a used up engine. I would not be concerned with compression
and such, but I would prefer that the internal parts not be broken.

Every time I see a second hand engine on there (i.c. or electric) I think;
just how abused has its life been, especially if it is an i.c. engine. It is
more of a lottery than buying a second hand car.

I cant imagine which parts would be any good for a Stirling engine, the
crankshaft only has 1 crank, piston is to small not much else left really
