Hi guys.

I am looking for the specifications for this Johnson 550 type motor.
The 2 numbers on it are 66780 and 351341.

Thanks

Have you looked on the Johnson web site to see if you can find it there.  If
you could supply the diameter or working voltage you should be able to find
more info than you really wanted.  They even have a simulator to show how
the effects of heat and voltage change the current, power, speed and
efficiency.

For the 540 @7.2 volts

At no load
Speed    16500    RPM
Current    0.803    Amps

and a whole more info

I always thought the 540 and 550 were the same motor.  I maybe wrong since
its been so many years since I mucked around with stock motors.

You might also find the Mabuchi web site has a little useful info as well

I did and found some very similar ones but it was not definitive as to
whether the one I had was listed. A few of them were close in details
but the length of them were always 5mm short from the one I have.

Thanks for the assist

A 550 is longer than a 540.  And in most brands called a 600 size motor
a speed 600 is actually a 550.
