Hiya,

There was a magazine in the UK about a year ago to build an RC monster
truck piece by piece using parts provided on the cover of the magazine

Can anyone recall what the name of this magazine is? Im doing some
research, I dont intend on buying it but I can't for the life of me
think what the name of this magazine is called - it was blue if that
helps...

thanks

Can't remember the name of the mag, but check out "deagostini", I think they
were the publishers.

I calculated the recent car they were offering, it worked out to over £600
for a nitro road car, (Thunder Tiger I think,) building it by the magazines.
I just feel sorry for any parents duped into buying it for their kids!

Thanks, I'll check that out.

I actually bought 4 magazines when they first came out cos I build
robots and at £1 a wheel it was cheap just to buy the wheels and never
continue buying the rest of the stuff, But I just wanted to have a look
at there suspension arms and stuff becuase im going to embark on
building an offroad robot using the big beefy monster truck wheels I
got.

thanks

We had that here in Oz too.  They pitched the first issue at only a few
dollars but I went to their web site and discovered by the time the
thing is built it was over $AU1000 (I think this is 1 pound sterling? :)
).  Considering it was a no-name brand of truck I lost interest - for
that money I could choose from the best brand name truck on the market.

You have to choose from the list "Nitro Monster Truck"
