Oh yeah baby! I won an auction. It was so funny - I made my final bid and won but it was sheer luck! Someone else bid exactly the same amount but I had beat him by 2 seconds haha! Couldn't believe it - ought to go out and buy a lottery ticket! Now I have my own lil Wild Willy 2 - it's so cute! Aren't you cute? Yes you are! Who's a lil cutey then? Gootchy gootchy goo! Yes, this was a re-release of the 80's Wild Willy and even this one is now no longer being made - or at least my LHS said so - so I had to buy it via ebay. It was re-released in 1999. I've pretty much decided to build it as a shelf queen rather than run it because I don't want to have to keep sourcing parts via ebay. One of these days I'll buy a truck that's still in production so I can actually run it but I'm still absorbed with the cars I wanted but couldn't afford when I was a kid. I had the Frog and couldn't afford the Wild Willy back in the 80s. Now I'm hoping Tamiya re-release the Bruiser/Hilux as I also drooled over that one.
