The better half and I are doing the same this weekend.  Got Imex Swamp Dawgs
(soft) on Outlaw rims for the Savage.  They hook up pretty well on the sand.
Also runnin the Swamp Dawgs on my Stampede and if I can get some sand
paddles for the Mini T that will be going as well.  Might even do a spot of
fishing while we're at it.

I think we are actually taking more fishing gear and toys than we are
camping gear :-)

Cheers

I might take the 18MT and just drag it up and down the beach, land the Sav
on it from the sea wall, then throw it in the sea :)

Toying with the idea of jumping the Sav off the sea wall..... (it's very
high...)

Maybe we should make a international day of destruction for all those people
who own a truck or car they hate and launch them all in to a ocean / river /
stream / lake / bathtub nearby.

I pick the Indian Ocean.

Might want to seal up the gear cover on the Stampede. If your using
the RPM gear cover, take a little bit of silicone and put it around the
edge. Let it dry and it should keep most of the sand out of the
pinion/spur gears.

Yep, been there done that.  I have about 20 spurs and 10 pinions for both
the Mini T and the Pede and as much sealing as I attempt those tiny grains
still manage to find their way in there.

Fun Factor usually takes over from the noise anyway.
