I have seen more powerful, solid and durable other trucks then the
t-maxx for almost the same price. But the t-maxx is still owned by the
majority of RC people, plus you need to put at least $300 extra to the
original price to make it reliable a little.

Anybody knows whay?

That is a question that I have pondered for a long time. Maybe it has
something to do with the fact that it is still considered a 1/10 scale and
think it is more managable?  Also, when it first came out it was in more
local hobby shops then other trucks. It was a cheap start for some that were
just getting into Nitro and from that point on folks were jumping on the
band wagon. When it first came out it was pretty much the best bang for the
buck considering the closest thing was almost twice the price and hard to
get.

I had really given it consideration, but finally came to my senses and
Picked up my HPI Nitro MT Racer and after that the Ofna Titan. After the
Titan I bought the Savage.  Right now I really want the Hellfire, but I
can't justify the $600 right now. Especially since I want the PS3 when it
comes out.
