Sounds good, how many gallons have you run throught your most-used
engine, without a con rod change? Thanks...

I'm not sure, I usually get bored of engines before they're used up and sell
them on for summet else :) Piston and liner is what wears out. That varies
depending on the engine, the use, the fuel, luck of the draw! I beleive Doc
has a 9 gallon old S-25 engine that has run well through out....

HPI S-25 in a Savage, 9+ gallons and still running strong
Sportwerks .26 with around 2.5 gallons and still running strong
The conrod will NOT break unless it's defective, you over-rev the engine or
you hydrolock it. I have never heard of pre-emtively replacing the conrod
and would highly suggest against it. Spend the money on stocking
replacement parts that will puke like diffs and dogbones.
