DanTXD - 24 Apr 2006 23:35 GMT ...for I have decided the collection has to be trimmed, and when I say trimmed, I mean, to nothing :-(
Moving abroad to Canada for 9 months on a kinda work/travel deal, and the cash freed up from the RCs will be most welcomed. The Sav will be stripped of mods to be flogged off seperately, the RC18MT, TS4N and big block T-Maxx will just go 'as they are'.
Obviously, the second I get back, I'll be having something new ;-)
Who knows, maybe I won't get a Sav - quite fancy an LST2 or a Revo 3.3....

Heh, I'll post pics and a long, long list on the group, or I'll put it all online and link to those that want to see, so as to avoid being flamed for spamming :-) It'll be about a month yet, gotta finish Uni first ;-)

You know you'll never get 1/2 of what you paid for them back, so why not fill the motors full of oil and leave em' be? Why not ship em' to Canada so you can have some fun while yer' abroad?
I'll never sell any of my collection as I realize I'll never get enough $$$ out of them to make it worthwhile!

Yea I know, but the cash will come in, and it gives the chance for a shiny new truck when I return :-) I'm fancying an LST2 - dunno why really, of course, it'll be over a year from now when I get another, so we'll see what's shiny and new then...

I was talking to the guys who run MT's at the track last week and they're not too keen on the LST or the LST 2 for durability reasons. The Savages, as unmanouverable as they are, are still kicking every other MT's a.s out there, including the Revos, AND it's a tight, technical track to boot. I couldn't believe it; I thought for sure the LST2 would kick a Savage's a.s on-track.

If the best drivers at the track prefer Savages, then by golly they'll figure out how to win with them. Technically, there's no way a Savage should out-handle a Revo, but the driver makes a *world* of difference.

I'll agree with that 100%; didn't think of it that way when I was speaking with the guys at the track. Any you're right, there is no physical way a Savage will out manouver a Revo, or a T-Maxx for that matter!

the driver/tuner makes the difference regardless of the surface. i have seen o.p.s crap engines out run maranellos, rossis, and the like just because the tuner/driver had a few tricks up his sleeve.

Wow I think I just got modded +5 insightful. *Grin* I usually don't post anything nearly this intelligent.
