Well, the time has come to part with my toys. One kid, another in the
planning stages, new house on t he horizon coupled with the fact that I'm
afraid to drive the savage because I hate cleaning it, tuning it, and
repairing it. Also not a big fan of all the batteries, radio truck, glow
starter, rotostart. That, and the little RC18 isn't as much fun as the
Savage. Looks like RCing is more fun to watch for this guy.
The details are:
HPI Savage 25 $450 obo
2 speed tranny w/ reverse kit
Futaba 3-pm FM radio & receiver w/ extra crystal set
three new servo's (had a glitch, replaced them to rule them out)
two sets of wheels & tires
two bodies
polished pipe, still have OEM pipe
Savage limited edition air filter (just like motor saver)
tons of extra parts
(2) glow starters - 1 battery one rechargeable
5 cell hump pack in truck
Roto start w/ 6-cell pack
pit fuel bottle
electronic fail-safe (not installed)
mechanical fail safe
throttle / brake linkage mod
Battery box mod (no more wrestling with the HPI cover)
on-board temp gauge (not installed)
About 2 gallons of fuel through it w/ after run oil used
tuned and maintained by my LHS
Have all original boxes & paperwork
RC 18 - $200 obo
three bodies
spare motor
tons of hop-ups and extras
two or sets of wheels & tires
OEM charger
quick charger
12V charger
Duratrax ESC
1 OEM battery
2 Li-Ion batteries
I know there's more, I just can't think of it
Have all original boxes & paperwork
I'll pack and ship either or both. If you want it for the price listed, I'll
ship free. If you want to negotiate the savage shipped in the US is $25, the
RC18 is $15. Email me at j.dunning <at> cox <dot> net for photo's and some
more specifics.
I thought I'd try you guys first before I go eBay. Sorry if this is spam,
but I thought I had seen some for-sale posts before.

A word of advice: you're asking way too much. You're asking new (Savage)
and more than new (RC18). Regardless of how many hop ups, extras and
support equipment they come with, used always sells for less than new. Used
Savages run $250-$350 much more hopped up than yours, which is pretty much
bone stock. My bud just bought a used RC18 all done out in aluminum with
brushless/lipo for $150 @ the LHS.
You'd likely be better of selling the vehciles RTR and selling off the
support equipment as individual bits.
My $0.02.
