Fellas,

New little 1/16th nitro buggy released this month by Sportwerks to compete
with the IRC Vulcan and soon-to-be-released Kyosho Mini-Inferno nitro buggy.

Reviews I've read are mixed.  Some love it, some hate it.  Some have had
zero durability issues, some have had lots.  Everyone seems to agree it's
slow as snot.  Anyone on here have one or know someone who does?  From what
I can tell, this is just a rebadged Tiktor Miwi <from France>.

Well I'm still waiting for my brussless 8000rpm per volt setup to arrive for
my Mini Inferno.  Should wipe the floor with any little nitro thing when it
arrives :)

When the Kyosho nitro mini is released I think I need to have one of those
as well, even if they are snot slow :)

Well I just took a look on the net and I have to say, the Kyosho looks a
SHITLOAD nicer.

All IMHO of course :)

But I am a bit of an Inferno fan :P

I'm in agreement with ya there.  The Chaos is an ugly little bugger huh!?
I've heard that the nitro mini-inferno is gunna retail somewhere in the
neighborhood of $500 RTR which is pretty steep for a 1/16 buggy and won't be
out till late fall here in the US.  I figured a chaos might hold me off
unitl I got my hands on a mini inferno.  Methinks I'll just wait!

Got the wifey driving the Kanai yesterday and she really liked it.  I dialed
out most of the throttle and some steering via the radio which made it much
easier for a first-time driver to handle.  After 10 minutes or so she was
ready for some more throttle so I upped the EPA to 50% (which produced a top
speed of 25mph or so).  She is now interested in my
Savage.................and has plans to bling it out in pink and chrome if
I'm willing to pass the reins.  Hmmmmmm.....................

Don't do it...

On the other hand, she won't be able to break the Savage....

My thoughts exactly.  Damn thing is practically indestructible.  Plus, I
don't drive it all that much anymore as I'm pretty hooked on my Kanai buggy
at the moment.  Although it would be "her's", I'd still be able to drive it
after removing the pink body and chrome bling wheels.  My other thought is
to grab her a Revo 3.3 as the EZ-Start system would be great for a newb.

This may surprise you, but I've had a few beers ;-)  The Revo 3.3 looks like
an awesome piece of kit, the 2.5 was very, very good from a newb point of
view, although I could never get along with that 2.5R engine.  The 3.3 as
what, a .19, .20?  Should hopefully be a lot more big blockish in nature,
which can only be a good thing...

It's a .20, and from what I've read, it's a helluva motor.
