And some after you've abused it ;-)  Mine is presently sitting in about 500
pieces awaiting the new FLM Hybrid Bulkhead setup to arrive and allow me to
shove this shiny new diff in...

Make sure you have a few of the common break in spares, such as a couple of
spare glowplugs and your glowstart and rotostart thing are charged ;)  Also,
break it in on whatever you plan to run it on fuel wise, and try do it
somewhere flat and smooth so the engine isn't stressed - empty car parks are
my breakin land of choice.  More importantly, have fun :D

hahaha i get married on the 30th THIS MONTH NOW! ill keep buying her
jewelry that'll keep her happy :)

Im running the car in using 20% and keep using that same fuel, @ $19
per liter it better be good. I was going to run the engine in using the
back yard its a little bumpy but all the grass is dead its like a
desert that should be smooth enough. Im going to use the heat cycle
method

All i have left is to arrange a charger, ive got a few spares, infrared
heat gun, glow plugs etc.

What do you guys suggest i do with the engine before starting it? ive
read somewhere i should pull it apart and clean it up and then run it
in. Could i just pull the cooling head off clean it out with wd40?

What kind of fuel is that?  You're getting HOSED on the price!  I run
O'Donnels 20% race bland and pay under $22 a GALLON (4 litres).

Sounds like you're all stocked up.

Never, ever use WD40 on the inside of an internal combustion engine of any
type!  Leave the engine assembled and in the truck.  Last thing you want to
do is f**k up yer new truck before you've even had the chance to break it.
Squirt a few drops of after run oil (I use Marvel Mystery Oil) down the carb
barrel and SLOWLY pull the starter a few times to circulate the oil thru the
motor.  Then just lite her up and run her in.

Ive heard O'Donnels is the shiznitch
Its just some fuel the local hobby store whips up, I was going to go
with 25% nitro but they wanted $24 per l, and you have to pre order it,
20% they have pre made. Im in a smallish town population of around
150k, hobby stores are slim pickings. Anyway ive got 2 litres to start
me off.

O'Donnells 20% here (N.C.)  is 28.95 + tax per gallon...
Or a little bit further drive in the opposite direction (away from any RC
playing field)and it's $22.95 + tax (cheapest I have found it)
Red Alert fuel is basically the same thing as O'Donnells with dye in it...

Try not to let her catch it as she'll burn herself on the cylinder head,
exhaust pipe, or both.
