Hey Dre, is this just a re-badged E-Zilla then?

Holy sh.t I allmost ate my fist then!!!!  I just had the worst feeling I
just bought an e-zilla when they just released an e-savage!

DONT DO THAT MAN!!!!  talk about a heart attack, LOL!

I've taken a look at the link, its *exactly* the same as an E-zilla, cept it
has different paint and stickers on the body so all good :)

On the other hand, I'm hoping that HPI now make em, that you'll be able to
get some upgrades!  That and get some better plastic parts when they break!

I want metal axles, metal shocks and adjustable upper a-arms for a start :)

WOOOOT, I love HPI!!

Cheers Dre

Haha sorry dude, I had heard it was the same as the E-Zilla :-)  I don't
know what it is but electric stuff just doesn't seem to do it for me.  I
think it's the lack of noise, mess and general destruction a nitro engine
alone can cause :-)  That and the smell of nitro burning....  I love the
smell of nitro in the morning (or afternoon, evening and night for that
matter...).

Hehehe, s'ok, just had a small panic attack :)

I love the electric trucks, they are soooo much fun at slock rock crawling
(or fast hill climbing for that matter), I love watching them rip rocks out
of the ground.  Plus I get to drive them at night when my mates are over for
beers, they are great for sh.ts and giggles with a torch taped to the roof
:)

But for outright speed, power and fun, the Savage wins hands down.  Why?
noise, smell, revs, power!!

The e-maxx is fast in 2nd, but its NOTHING on a Nitro for speed...

Ditto on the leccy stuff dude.............it just doesn't do it for me
either.  It's the lack of top-end speed that irks me the most.  Sure, you
can run brushless and LiPo's, but for the price of let's say an E-Maxx with
a full b/l conversion and 2 sets of LiPo's + charger you've just bought
yourself TWO Savage X's!  If/When b/l and lipos get a bit more reasonable
I'll grab one, but until then nitro is just cheaper.

I LOVE the switch the power switch on and its away factor too.  Plus you can
walk out of the house with car in one hand, controller in the other and
pockets all full of battery packs.  No toolbox required to start :)

They both have strengths and weaknesses, thats why I run both, LOL!

The electrics are fun at late night (when you can't be loud)..slap on a
lighted body and tear the streets up!
They are also alot of fun when you have a 2WD ST with a 10T motor and are
all up the rear of a stock nitro 2.5 T-Maxx... LOL

I've been eyeing off a E-Zilla for a very long time but I'd buy the HPI
version just because it says Savage on it and it would piss the missus off
with her Emaxx.

Yep thats the reason I have always liked the EP cars and trucks.  No noise,
no disturbance to the neighbors and you can run them almost anywhere and
anytime.

Cheers

This is the, let's face it, *HUGE* advantage of 'leccy stuff!  Still, at
night here it's usually cold and you wouldn't want to play anyway ;-)

So if the E-zilla and E-Savage are identical, I wonder who makes them?
Are HotBodies selling them to HPI or are they both getting them from
someone else?
