everything and anything 1/12 scale?

I'm thinking about adding a RC12L4 to my arsenal....

1/12???  What is this 1/12 scale you speak of???

Seriously though, do people still race 1/12 scale anywhere in the world?

I thought that 1/10 scale had taken over from 1/12 scale years ago.

Cheers

the carpet tracks around here in Chicago all have some 1/12th guys. It
looks like it will also get popular for this winter season. A bunch of
the track regulars are getting back into it. There's usually only one
heat of them along with the 1/10th scales.....

FWIW, once the indoor season is underway we'll also see alot of Mini
Coopers showing up running races using TCS rules.

I was just wondering the other day where you have been away from the
newsgroup!
Welcome back Kenji!
Been tearing up the tracks all season with the electrics?

Sorry though, I am 1:12th scale illiterate.

You're not the only one dude, I didn't even know there was 1/12 scale :-)

On the upside, project supercheap and tarmac is well under way...

no way. if I did that there would be physical evidence the wife could
see that I actually have purchased all those vehicles.

I also don't leave hobbyshop bags or receipts laying around.....

Hehe..
Guess you would definately have to buy her something then if she finds/sees
them...
Isn't it kind of hard to hide 6 RCs and their parts?  =)

Seriously I thought 1/12 was dead, so its great to no that someone is
putting them to use somewhere in the world.

I really must be one of the lucky ones.  My missus didn't get upset at me
when I bought my Savage SS because she got the Tmaxx, she didn't get upset
when I got the second Mini T because she got the first one and just recently
I bought a heli so a few days later she says she wanted one to, so we went
out and bought her a one too.

If she doesn't buy her own gear she gets my hand-me-downs, its GRRRRREAT!!!

Cheers
