Yeah, either an O.S. .30 or an LRP Z.28 V-Spec 2. I read some reviews on
the STS .28 on Savage Central and they were very mixed. Some were great,
some were just awful, seemed to indicate a lack of quality control on the
part of STS. Reminded me of the issues I had with a few SH .16's awhile
back and I didn't want to go down the same road as that. The only negative
thing I've heard about the O.S. was that it's a lil' lacking on the top end,
which I believe is just the user's failure to break in or gear properly. HP
and toqrue drop off dramatically at 26K RPM but it still revs out to 35.5K
RPM. Soooooo, with the gobs of low-end torque it has, just gear the damn
thing really tall and it'll still wheelie into 2nd gear and hit 45 mph on
the top end before revving out. Also, break in for the O.S. is 1 gallon d/t
the nikasil sleeve, so any reviews done prior to that point are worthless.
