Boxed as new, barely looks used, includes some spares and stuff.  £160. They
seem to fetch at least £220 plus post on eBay...

Looking forward to giving it a beating :D

Don't give it too much of a beating...it is a Traxxas product.
They seem to be designed for you to spend money on the replacement parts
over and over again!  =)
However, they tend to hold up a bit better than most Radio Shack and Nikko
RCs!
LOL

I really do not know why people think that. My kid has a revo, it was
his first real RC truck and he has bashed the crap out of it and never
broken any structural parts. . .banged some linkages once, that's all.
I'm talking REAL bashing, the kind you get from a TM323 engine. It has
faired WAY better than my MGT or the Savages my friends own. . . .

I think everyone's sample size is too dang small to reliably quote any
statistics on brand/model hardiness.  And the way we all play with them
- "bashing" being the operative word - it's a wonder any of us ever have
any play time compared to repair time.  When I build my MT, I'm
purposefully gearing it for low speed to try and preserve it (well, I'm
not into racing).

ASCII a silly question, get a silly ANSI.

Well my mates old Revo was as tough as, if not tougher than my Sav so that's
good enough for me :)

Wrongo.............lower gearing will just make it torquier, and while the
destruction of a high-speed crash is out, the drivetrain will take a severe
beating instead.

Dang those cunning laws of physics!

Yeah, for every action there is an equal but opposite reaction eh?  Factory
gearing is usually best for wear, as it's generally halfway between the
upper and lower ranges of cb/spur combos available.  Some trucks are worse
than others as well.  I've found that stuff with a center diff is MUCH
easier on the drivetrain than stuff with a transmission.

Don't build it slow, after a few weeks you'll just be gearing it taller and
faster!

Don't take it too seriously. I just had too many nightmares with their
products (T-Maxx/Rustlers).
The brand is "cursed" for me and still leaves me angry with their products.
They actually have several new items of interest to me..but, I vowed to
never give them any more of my money after the horrid experiences I had.
If you enjoy the Traxxas products then that is cool with me. I am simply
biased when it comes to them.
My RC buds still use Traxxas stuff and they like it too.
Just my "karma" I guess with the bad luck.

I've got two ;-)  One is for sale to pay for the Revo :-D

Went out with it tonight and loved it, so much easier to use than the Sav.
Fuel bottle (small cos it doesn't appear to use any....), tranny and EZ
start and I was away, it all fitted in my pockets (I had a small screwdriver
as well incase tuning was needed).  And it was hard as nails till a bodged
turnbuckle gave way - but I shoved that roughly back togehter and was off
again.  Most fun I've had with an RC for ages.

I love my Savage - but now it has stiff competition....

I want to see you run it up that huge skate ramp full blast like you did the
Savage.
