From 2 to 8 gallons is the range that I've heard. You can trash a piston
and sleave, however, in 1 tank. Anything from a slipped g-pin to a bad
bearing to dirt from the fuel or lack of air filter will do it.

When you have whored out a sleeve, it is easy to figure out where the piston
is. I measure where when I go to the Men's Wearhouse. I work pretty late
at night on my Maxx, and catch up on my sleep during english class. Yikes!
Now get out a dictionary and look up "compression".
