Hey all,

I have a Losi Pro SE but need a body for it.  Does anyone know of any
company that makes one to fit?  The original molds at Losi were damaged
beyond use.  Thanks,

XX, XXT, XXX, or XXXT?
Sort of need to know that.

Losi did make RC vehicles before 1994 you know.

"Pro SE" is what you need to know.

Look man. I have raced Losi's since the Junior 2.
Losi has had a Special Edition (SE) for nearly every model they have made.
I was wrong to assume the OP was asking about a later model.
I assumed if he was running a JR or JR2 SE he would have mentioned that.

To the OP:
The last NOS Losi body I got off E Bay for a Junior 2 Pro SE cost me $97
plus shipping. I still haven't found an unpainted truck body.
I admit I have stopped looking for one on E Bay recently.
Parma made a buggy body as did Team A&L.
Good luck.

Jesus christ!  That's like, £50ukp for a body shell!

Sorry all,

I didn't realize the confusion I was creating.  The full name of the
particular Losi car is JRX Pro SE.  I purchased it new in '92, and RC Car
Action named it Car of the Year in '93.  Still have that issue!  This is the
car the JR2 was "spawned" from, but it has a narrower chassis than the JR2.
This is a buggy, the truck at that time was the JRX-T.  Tis is a "special"
model of their second car, and the first to use a molded "tub" chassis that
is commonplace today.  And yes, this is pre-XX.  But I'm sure Losi used what
they learned on this car to create the XX buggy.

Anyother questions?

Thanks all,

Travis

Do you want to replace it with a original body?  Being the vintage that the
Pro SE is I don't like your chances unless you can find a hobby shop that
has been around for as many years that might have old stock sitting around
somewhere.  Otherwise keep watching ebay.

Another place to try is a body manufacturer like Parma or Frewer who have
been around for just as long and might have some old bodies sitting around.

Cheers
