AA nimh and car charger

i made a tamiya /transmitter  socket adapter and connected it to my prodigy
II for charging.  someone said these hobby chargers are only for C cells.
What do you guys think?

Is that the yellow charger with the LCD display? ProPeak Prodigy II??

If it is then charging 1-14 cells NiCd or NiMh and 1 - 5 cell Lipo's
batteries shouldn't be a problem for a couple of AA's.

If you are charging the batteries in the transmitter then you might just
want to make sure you charge them slowly/low amperage.  Charging the
batteries with high amperage can cause the plastic inside to melt/deform,
specially since there is know air flow inside the transmitter.  I have done
this in my younger days, but I have learnt the are of patience.

I was wondering if things like cut off point, internal resistance and other
technical stuff was wrong so it would undercharge them or something.

I charged at 1 amp, 2600 batts would still take 2.6 hours.
