http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=m78ultra&hl=en A couple of cheesy clips of my Ofna Ravager. Street clip (a full tank) was last break-in tank with crappy servos (twitch under the powerlines). Other two small clips are zipping around the backyard. I love this thing..it is super fast and a blast to play with. Playing with it on a couple of different local dirt tracks I can only rarely use half throttle as it gets too squirrelly to control! Currently sports a Nova Pro Cooling Head,CVEC Adjustable Pipe,HiTec and Cirrus MG Servos and Panther MT LP Komodos/ProLine Standard MT Dish. Very nice. Love those high speed runs on the grass. Nippy little thing isn't it :-) My Revo has a rear wing now, more for pointless cool factor than anything else heh. Although I can't decide if I like it really, so I might take it off. I just hope that the Force .28 lasts a bit longer than the majority of what I have read on it. (Approx. 4 to 5 gallons) I have been smoking my buds .30 STS so far ( as he has been having tuning issues since break-in) on a track we run on locally. That's 0 for 2 on the STS .30's. I'm glad I didn't buy one! Haven't heard a good thing about them yet. Had the Kanai III out yesterday, tuned lean and mean, screaming around the yard on the Komodo LP's. Put a new 7075 T6, black anodized, lightened chassis on her prior to running.........it <was> real purdy. Ran a little over a quart thru her and was making some spectacular full-speed jumps over my driveway and thru the trees. Damn thing flies like an airplane. I am still impressed with the durability of the Kanai. Granted, it has every 7075 and Ti hop-up available installed, but there were a few crashes where I just <knew> I had busted something..........flipped it over and drove away each time with zero damage. In the 1+ quarts I ran thru the Kanai, my poor bud managed to squeek 2.5 tanks out of his MGT in-between fixes. Damn thing breaks every other tank. I advised him to grab a Savage when he was looking at MT's...............but no one ever listens to me...................he he he he. Doc > That's 0 for 2 on the STS .30's. I'm glad I didn't buy one! I'd struggle not to recommend an MGT based on my experience of them really heh. My mates was cheap as anything and just goes no matter what we do to it, it's as tough as the Sav and the Revo. How do you find the engine? We all think the TTR .21 (his is the old version) is the most unkillable, easy to tune and own engine ever made. Although the RB TM323 in my Revo is getting there. Literally, never touched the needles heh, still flies, starts easy, never stalls, it's great hah. SignatureDan Formerly DanTXD My EB-4 and all my buds older V-Specs have/had TTR .21 and .21 Pro motors... They are great motors. I actually bought a back up one several years back but have not had a need to use it as my original one still has lots-o-compression and still runs strong. Only thing I have seen kill one yet is a super over lean just to see how far someone could push it. IIRC.. back in the day when I purchased the EB there was a .21 test performed on several different .21 motors and the TTR motor won. (Being the hardest motor to "kill".) The test involved, among other things, actually letting dust/dirt into the motor intentionally! Yes, they are among the easiest motors to tune. (Or as easy as any easy 3 needle motor) They also hold the settings well..with only very minor adjustments to HSN for weather change after set for preference. How do you find the engine? Great quality video with your "On-Board Cam". I have used a small wireless "Spy Cam" attached to my RC's, with varying results... none of which match the nice quality (of both picture and sound) you have. Please, tell me the brand of cam used, and how you attached it to your car. Thanks in advance, Divrdan007 I simply ziptied my camera (Sony Cybershot DSC P-32), which has mpeg/sound ability, to the wing. You just have to be extra careful not to roll-over!
