F**k off you Hobbytron spammer!

To all the newbies reading this thread, these bozo's are wickedly overpriced
and have terrible service.  I would highly advise AGAINST purchasing from
them.

No kidding. Saw their kit, they were worse than tower, but threw in a
little crap to try and make up for it. One can save an easy $50
shopping elsewhere on most RTRs.

Ya know, it wouldn't be so bad if spammers and solicitors were up-front
about their posting.  This dufus posed as a "helpful" member of the forum
posting advice for newbs...............if he had just been up front about it
we would have told him <politely> that commercial spamming is generally
regarded as tacky on usenet as opposed to telling him to go f**k himself.

Anywho, I hope we scared him off and in the process saved a few souls from
getting hosed on their so-called "deals."

I would recommend www.towerhobbies.com or www.horizonbobby.com for newbs.
Both have reasonable pricing and both have PHENOMINAL customer service.  I'd
say for HPI, Traxxas or OFNA products to hit Tower as they're cheaper, and
for Losi, Mugen or Sportwerks to hit Horizon as Tower don't carry their
stuff!

Just ordered me an HO scale slot-car set from Tower as a matter of
fact......................slated to get here tomorrow!  Yeehawww!

Ah Ha, So the sole reason for spamming the Usenet was to seek commission
from sending people to the HT website.  It had nothing to do with whom is a
better/cheaper company or to actually help people (well anyone but himself).
Its all about the money Lee gets from sending traffic to the HT website.

I wonder if Tower Hobbies is aware how Lee is using their name on his
website or if HT know how Lee is using their name to sledge Tower Hobbies
name on his web site.

We'll have to send both a email and find out what they have to say about it.

Not only that, they DON'T have a clue what their talking about.

"The 1/10, 1/18 and 1/6 scale T-Maxx trucks come in fully assembled RTR
form"

"1/20 scale R40 Hara Edition."

Cheers
