so i winter proofed my e-savage.

it snows here 8 months of the year, and i can't wait till summer to try
my new truck. :)

i sealed my ESC with silicon. then wrapped it in a balloon. then did the
same for the receiver.

i put about 3 feet of wire around each tire, now i got excellent
tracking for the snow and ice.

if anyone is interested, i got pics of it all.

Does this mean you got it working again?

Was the snow the reason it stopped working?

BTW - What's this snow you speak of, its a mild 39.7 with 6% humidity here
at the moment.  ;-)

Yeah it's working now. Thanks for asking Richard.

Snow wasn't a problem, once i charged the batteries,  the heat from them
melted the snow, then the water got in my ESC (which i thought i had
sealed). Once all dried out, it worked fine.

And btw, it's 18 degrees and snowing here ( i'm up next to Santa and the
polar bears ) :) hehe

Cheers
