i havent started my traxxas t-max 2.5 since december started it today
and was over reving and the engine got hot realy quick , anyone know
which idles i should adjust ?

Check your tank and fuel lines for leaks/cracks and soak yer' carb in fuel
for 20-30 minutes, then blow it out with an air gun.  Sounds like you have a
leak OR a needle is gummed up.

From the message, sounds like your Low Speed Needle is lean to me.
Counterclockwise 1/4 turn and see reaction.....
If no change ..reset Low and then adjust High Speed Needle 1/4 counter
clockwise and see if it changes.
You should have a decent smoke trail from the pipe to keep it from being
overly "lean"
Also, I guess it is possible that your idle is way too high. (counter
clockwise again to lower the idle with the screw)
