The factory Sprint ESC is good for 20-27 turn motors.
I would suggest in investing in a decent ESC first for a "hotter" motor..
If you are running the factory setup..an easy way to get roughly 5mph-10mph
more from the Photon 20T is to add
Trinity 4383 Silver Serrated Brushes and
Trinity 4038 Standard/Modified 14.5oz.Extra Heavy Silver Motor Springs.
The factory DuraTrax brushes are junk.

Also, be sure to clean the motor com with a com stick, and spray out the
motor with electric motor cleaner regularly.
(I do so about every 10 battery packs)
If you bought the Evader new,it should have a video that shows the proper
procedures.

Depends on what you want to acheive. The biggest problem you have is the
stock ESC can only handle 20 - 27 turn motors so you cant really get any
more speed than you've already had with the motor supplied with the ST.
