Transmitter Gun vs. Two Sticks.  Servo Positions different

Hi All,

I'm also trying to repair my transmitter which died a death after I
left old batteries in it.  I tried swapping crystals with my nitro
racer which is also on 27.  This seemed to work when the poor old big
wig was running.  Only problem was the speed controller servo was full
forward.  Even with full reverse and trim right back it only put the
speed controller into neutral.  Do older transmitters run differently
or is this a difference between gun style and two stick style
transmitters?

Cheers,

fin

I figured this one out as well.  The transmitters seem to all have
slightly different settings.  The modern speed controllers compensate
for this by resetting themselves to your controller.  If it's a
steering servo though you just have to pry the arms off the sevo and
reset the arms appropriately,

Fin
