Revo 3.3 wider wheel base?

I was out at the track again tonight.  There was a guy out there with a Revo
3.3, too.  Well, it USED to be a Revo 3.3.  He had a ton of modifications on
that thing (took off the electric starter, went down to one high torque/high
speed steering servo, etc).  But he was kicking butt so he obviously knew
what he was doing.

He and I started talking and he said he also widened his wheel base on his
truck.  He held it up to mine and it was about an inch or so overall wider
than my stock truck.  He told me what he did but with all the information he
was giving me I completely forgot.  I've looked at some RC websites and can
either find stock parts or heavy duty parts; none that say wider.

Anyone know where I can look?  Is there a website that is dedicated to
modifications for the Revo 3.3?  (advice, adjustments, explanations about
what oil to use in the shocks and springs work best for a dirt track with
lots of jumps, etc)

Thanks again.

You might find the wheels were Proline Velocity 23mm HD's or Velocity 17mm's
with 1/2" offset.
