painting lexan rc bodies

In painting lexan bodies, could duplicolor laquer paint from any auto parts
store work?

I've always used a hobby or craft paints for painting the inside of my
bodies as it is a lot more forgiving than automotive paints and easier to
work with. Even though automotive paints are so much cheaper I still prefer
ease of use over price.

Thanks for the tip. I did use model paint for one of the colors. The second
color has been on order on what seems like forever. And I'm just getting a
little inpatient. That's the reason for posting the question about paint. My
local hobby shop isn't to blame at all. It's the manufacture that's dragging
there feet. But I do thank you for the tip. It saved me from ruining my lexan
RC body!
