For the last 3 weeks we have been getting about 1" of rain every week.  This
doesn't really sound like much but the dirt track in my town has drainage
problems and after an inch of rain it takes about 10 days to clear up the
puddles.  I went and looked at the track two days ago and it was finally
starting to dry (only one big puddle left) but since then it hasn't stopped
raining.  I bet we got 2 inches of rain in the last 2 days.  Time to start
looking at remote control submarines!

I hope this isn't a sign that its time to store the truck for winter and
wait for next summer.

On another note, I just bought a two stage airbrush so at least by the time
next summer rolls around I should be relatively decent with it and have a
good looking body on my truck.

Sounds like your club or track owner needs to find a solution and get some
maintenance done.

We're going the opposite to you and heading into summer now. We have just
gotten our local track back into racing condition. Also cleaned up some of
the sections of the track that flood when it rains so we have good run off
and drainage.

So we're now looking forward to racing for the next 8 or 9 months.

You can send some of that rain our way here in SoCal.  Our subject for
the week is "it won't stop burning!" I'm two miles from the fire and
choking on smoke and ash.
